DEGREE PROGRAM: MFA: Directing, Performance, Performance Design, Dramatic Writing.

THE PROGRAM: Students work together to explore and help define the future of the theatre art. Admitted as a cross-disciplinary cohort, each new group progresses from innovative interpretations of established plays through working with playwrights in the creation of new works to devising exciting, new pieces collaboratively. In addition to a rigorous studio and academic curriculum, students are encouraged and aided in their professional development by workshops, collaboration with their instructors in professional settings and internships with professional theatre and arts organizations with whom the School has built relationships. Student’s work in the School’s exceptional teaching and performance venues, including two theatres, four studios and one experimental laboratory space.
